The Historical Van Hoose & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Services, announce the death of Tuscaloosa City Council Member, Deacon Burrell G. Odom, age 62 Deacon / Councilman Odom, returned to his creator on Monday, December 22, 2014 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Mr. Odom was serving his first term on the Tuscaloosa City Council. He was elected in 2013 to represent District One. Mr. Odom, is survived by his lovely wife of forty two years, four children, four grand children and father in law, other relative and a number of friends.
