TUSCALOOSA Mr. Ludie Dell ?CPSPapa-Doo?i? 1/2i? 1/2 Patton, age 86, of Tuscaloosa, died Feb. 5, 2012, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Lorenza James officiating. Burial will follow in Henderson Cemetery in Stewart, Ala. with Van Hoose & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Services directing. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.He was preceded in death by his wife, Addie Lee Spencer Goins Patton.Survivors include his daughters, Maxine Patton of Detroit, Mich. and Barbara Ivory (Frank) and Carolyn Jones (William), all of Tuscaloosa; son, James E. Patton (Ethel) of Tuscaloosa; sister, Ruth Brown of Detroit, Mich.; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family, other relatives, and friends.
