Van Hoose and Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Services announce the passing of Mrs. Annie Marie Lundy Wynn, age 85 died Sunday, March 31, 2013.Funeral Thursday, April 4, 2013 11a.m. at the Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church, 3535 Stillman Boulevard, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. Rev. Gregory Bentley officiating.Entombment will follow in Memory Hill Gardens.Among the many organizations with which Mrs. Wynn was affiliated are the following: Former President of Beta Chi Chapter, Delta Kappa Gramma; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority since initation in 1959; Tuscaloosa Chapter, Alabama State Teachers Retirement Association; Board of Directors, Tombigbee Girl Scouts; Treasure, Presbyterian Women, Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church; Board of Directors Benjamin Barnes Branch YMCA; Founding and Chartering President of the Tuscaloosa Chapter of the Links, Inc.; Immediate Past Chairperson of the Spouse of the UNCF Member Presidents; and Member of Orientation and Planning Committee for Presidential Spouces, Council of Independent Colleges. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and four siblings, and her husband the late Dr. Cordell Wynn, former President of Stillman College. She is suvived by three daughters, two sons in law, and six grandchildren.
