Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Alice Ward, of Tuscaloosa will be held on Friday at 12 noon at the Elizabeth Baptist Church, 2650 Elizabeth Street, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, Rev. Vernon Swift, officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Oak Memorial Park. Viewing hours: Thursday at the historical Van Hoose and Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2615-Stillman Blvd, Tuscaloosa, Al 35401 12 noon until 6 PM with the family receiving friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Mrs. Ward will lie in state at the church one hour prior to funeral time. All services entrusted to the historical Van Hoose and Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
