Mrs. Maude Catherine Spurling Jenkins, Retired Program Assistant Expanded Food & Nutrition Program for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System of Auburn University passed away on Sunday, November 15th at the age of 91. She served as Deaconess for many years at First Baptist Church of Northport, and a charter member of the First Thessalonians 5:17 Prayer & Bible Study Group. COMMUNITY VIEWING: Friday, November 20, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Van Hoose & Steele Funeral Home, Inc., 2615 Stillman Blvd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. at Cedar Oak Memorial Park, 1401 Mimosa Park Rd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. Rev. Carlos Calhoun will officiant and Eulogist. Burial to follow in Cedar Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Danny R. Steele, LFD.
